Beef and butter fat fast – post results

I did five whole days with great difficultly on the beef and butter fat fast. This ended on Friday. You can read all about that journey here.

Yesterday, the day after the beef and butter fat fast, I ate normally on my usual keto-ish diet. I skipped breakfast because I do intermittent fasting.

This morning, Saturday the 20th of August, I was out fairly early helping our Women’s Institute set up its stall at our local Pride event.

12.05: Before heading back out to help marshal the Pride Parade, I had bacon and eggs for lunch with 1/2 a tomato. Then I had 18 almonds, 2 tbsp full fat Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp extra thick double cream with 1 1/2 tbsp frozen mixed berries. With this I had 1 dried fig and 4 dried apricots.

19.00: Angus beef fillet steak cooked in butter, mushrooms cooked in red wine and garlic and 4 slender oven cooked, olive oil and cumin powder rubbed sweet potato chips. 125 ml red wine, 1 1/2 small squares very posh Swiss chocolates.

Weight this morning – 174 7/8 lbs. Which means in one day I’ve gone up nearly 1 1/2 lbs, and only lost 1/2 lb from all of that fat fasting.

I was so upset. I spent most of the morning crying and then this afternoon once I broke my intermittent fast once more I’ve gone on the egg keto fast.

I walked all over our little village and couldn’t find any avocados. The guacamole I did find was heavy in carbs, so I didn’t get that. So this is today’s food.

15.15: Broke fast. 4 slices of bacon, 2 eggs, 2 egg yolks, cooked in coconut oil.

17..45: 4 tbsp peanut butter, 2 tbsp butter, 1/2 tsp Stevia. And that’s it. I shall weight myself tomorrow and close my window once I finish the peanut butter.
